Description

Kennedy Airport is unique in that airlines got the opportunity to design, build and operate their own terminals. Foreign airlines would operate from a consolidated terminal. In this early version, the unit terminals are still indicated as generic terminal buildings with two piers each. The landside contains some unique features that were later cancelled such as an open-air theatre and a ferris wheel!
